Pokemon Showdown sections of the Forum

So I was wondering how everyone would feel if we started opening sections of the forum that uses Pokemon Showdown. Such as a gym league that uses showdown.

I know not everyone has time to breed pokemon and sometimes the servers can be glitchy. Plus there are a good amount of people that use showdown that we could invite here to help pick up activity. Plus with x/y not being compatible with all of the ORAS features (such as the new megas) this could be a good way to compensate for those who don't have ORAS. Only possible problem I see with it is that we may have to rely on smogon's rules more. Let me know what you guys think?

It is possible to battle on showdown without rules.

I'd support it. I rarely play on my DS anymore but I play on showdown daily.

Yea, that does seem like something that could work. And you dont have to follow all of their rules if you play in custom games

id be up for it. saves time from ev training and all that.

I don't hear any disapproval so I'll start adding some showdown sections of the forum later today.

If it picks up activity, then there's nothing else to be said. I can't use my Ds anyway, nor do I own the new game, so this is good for me.

Also, we could start a tournament with random pokemon as Far once suggested we did on Smogon.

True I was thinking about a random tournament too. In fact I think I may start it right now...
