Forum Activity?

This forum has had very little activity and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to make this place more active as well as maybe a way to get more members?

we could do some tournaments, talk about the forum to other people we know like pokemon, make more trade offers

Well ill work on starting a tournament and I'm willing to trade with anyone who wants to. However I don't know too many people who play pokemon which is one of my reasons for creating this forum.

Hmm… I don't know if making a tournament is really going to get more members… but I really can't think of anything better.

How about making a facebook page with a link to here? and we can post some statuses to get people to see it. We could also post in news comments for announcements about x and y

Exactly ^^^^ oh and how about going to other Pokemon site forums like serebii or gamefaqs to tell other people about it.

yeah that would be good too. I will do that but I would like GC to give me a summary of pokemon wars which i can use to tell people what it is and and I will try to attract more people

Well tell you the truth I hate Facebook. If someone is interested in making and running the page feel free to pm me and we can talk about it.

If you want to tell people about the site that would be great however please don't spam it all over other people's forums/sites people tend not to like that

Reopening this topic cause I would like to start advertising again after the holidays and want to start coming up with new ideas now.

Before we used to answer yahoo answer question with legitimate answers and leave the site link in the references but the accounts get banned eventually. My current idea is to maybe find other sites like yahoo answers?

Hmm... I dunno how others feel about it... but I think I have a way around the GTS shutdown so I could offer pokemon for completing tournys and what not... however I currently can't create shinies of special event pokemon... I've not dabbled enough to learn these secrets yet.
