| Since we now have multiple members qualified to take the E4 Challenge, we may soon have a Champion, and that Champion will likely be challenged by other E4-qualified members soon. I wanted to propose a set of rules specifically for the Champion match since it's quite a difficult title to obtain and, as we all know, Pokemon matches can sometimes be won or lost on luck, especially when the skills of the two players are very evenly matched (which I think is the case among the 4 challengers right now). I propose the following:
1) The champion cannot make up any rules - no banning moves, weather etc. - you will fight using standard Pokemon Wars OU Rules 2) Champion matches will be a Best-Of-3 3) In the first match in the BO3, the Challenger and Champion must draw from the 9 Pokemon they used to defeat the E4 4) In subsequent matches, both the Challenger and Champion may change their team and may draw from any legal Pokemon in their possession | |

| I like the idea and thought into it, but i think they should only be able to draw from the 9 Pokemon they used to defeat the E4, since in all games you werent able to just go to the pokecentre and swop out as you pleased, plus i think thats why the said choose a team of nine to assist in that. but this is only my thoughts, so we can see what others think and take from there. | I think what Julz says makes sense. Really like the idea Far. I think implementing the best of 3 will make the match as fair as we possibly can. | |

| i thought rule 4 would make it more interesting since all of us have fairly large pokemon pools, and adjusting teams to surprise your opponent could be part of the strategy, but I'm happy to do away with it | |

| I like your rules too Far, however like Jul and Dia, I think the challenger and champ should only be able to use the 9 pokemon they registered because; A) Like Jul said, during the game, you were unable to swap any of your pokemon unless you lost. B) Our members prefer different Pokémon and if we say it should be to Standard OU tiers, the challengers will ONLY bring the most competitive Pokémon they have and while some like Taka prefer the top of OU Pokémon, I and others feel other tiers should get a look in. C) Part of the challenge is to use the 9 Pokémon you have to the best of yours and your Pokémon's ability. We learn a lot more from tough situations than from any other and the harder the battle the stronger each person will become. | |

| What is everyone's thought on the supereffective rule? The one that impedes players from challenging an E4 member with more than supereffective moves and pokemon? I've had a lot of people challenge me completely unaware of it, and in the end, the rule ended up costing them the mach due to the inability to pick an elaborate team that effectively challenges the E4 member's team... *breaths in* ... Any thoughts in the matter? | |

| I didn't think the super effective rule counted in E4 matches as the opponent was limited to there 9 Pokémon and I could build my team around my foe. | |
