Thoughts on the current gym system

Hi All....
Once again I'm asking for your input We are a community after all and your thoughts matter to me.
After all this site isn't mine its OUR's while GC is away and I don't wanna go changing things, just because I can.... So...

would like to know each of your thoughts on the current gym system.... Mainly the badges....

We currently have gym leaders and they issue there badge to winners so on and so fourth but should the badge still count if that gym closes?

I think we should pull all the badges and start again, but i feel i can't as this would be unfair on the trainers who have made it to the E4 now.

Maybe we could put into place that once a challenger to the E4 has passed and becomes champ he loses his badges and if he loses his spot he must reearn all the current badges for 6th gen?

I'm not sure... Please let me know what you think. If your worried about saying something here incasre you upset someone, PM me....

Also on the 20th of may when the WIFI for 5th gen is switched off, we will close all the 5th gen gyms and so all thos badges will be removed... Think that's best.

Like you i think only gen 6 gyms should count as they are the active ones. A champion must start over when defeated to make the climb to champion again. Remove all badges from past gyms (let people who are already challenging e4 keep doing so but if they lost they would have to get current badges).

I agree, we have three challengers facing the E4 at the moment (or four, can't remember off hand) but they've worked hard to get there and it wouldn't be fair to pull them out. Once we have a champion only active gym badges will count. I think that would be best and neater.

Agreed with everyone so far, we all believe in removing the 5th gen badges but only after we get a champion.
