I would go with rain dish tentacruel. Give it black sludge and aqua ring and it will be gaining a whole lot of hp every turn. You can also use toxic spikes to poison your opponents team.

Rain dish is a dw ability. Though you could go with liquid ooze if you can't get to the dw or you don't want to run it on a rain team. Though you'll be missing out on some great hp recovery.

There is a hidden grotto pass power that increases the chances of the hidden grotto regenerating but that's about it

Wait, and what good will that do? I hope you're not thinking you can breed a Dw ditto with the tenacruel, and hope for a Dw tentacool..? I just don't see the need for a Dw ditto. Unless you have fun with it in the competetive game. Ditto is really fun to battle with.

No sorry ditto can't breed dw abilitys at all. Even with pokemon that have dw abilitys.

Go with gengar! He's the only poison type I'd consider, otherwise go with golbat, or scollipede, not many good poison types out there.
