Pokemon VGC World Championship 2014

So the world championship for 2014 just concluded.

Epic battles throughout, legacies showing there faces, but just one man, who I think deserved it more than anyone else, stood at the top in the end.

Sen Jun Park, well done.

So the main question is....did anyone go? If so, where are the pictures!? We wanna know all bout it!

And who else is training a squirrel army....

I know! This Korean guy is my hero! Not only did he win the championship of 2014, but he did it using a freaking Pachirusu and Gardevoir! No, Gatr, not Mega Gardevoir. Regular Gardevoir.

Also, last year, Sejun Park ALMOST won using a Scrafty <3 though it was a shiny Scrafty...

Needless to say, this guy is awesome. Watch his battles, this is how pokemon should be played.

It helped that his opponent was not the brightest... I'm still not enthused about this guy's team, but it makes much more sense now that I know this is Doubles.

Yeah Sen Jun is a legend and a brilliant strategist.

And yeah, all pokemon VGC battles are doubles format. I've recently joined the official league in my hometown of Durban so next year will possibly be looking at getting to regionals and then nationals...and then who knows
