| Can you guess how old the Bravest man alive is..... 17 yeah on the news i read that a motercycle crashed into a building because of brake failure there was two on the motercycle, a 17 year old boy and his 16 year old girlfriend, only the girlfriend survived this is how she said what happened
Girl: Its Going too Fast!
Boy: No this is fun
Girl: No its not please slow down
Boy: then say you love me
Girl: i love you
Boy: now give me a hug and could you take my helmet it's kinda bothering me
she took the helmet soon after he told her that he found out the brakes were out halfway around the race track, he wanted to hear her say that she loves him and huged him one last time, so he gave her his helmet so she would survive even though he knew he was going to die all he cared about was his girlfriends life
All you guys here if you have/had a girlfriend would you do this for her
if you would say I
Not to be offensive but i estimate that at least 70% would not it is just how we are, most humans are afraid to die i know i am but i would die for my girlfriend

| not to demean the importance of love and all that but this story doesnt make sense.
1) 2 people would not be allowed on a motorcycle on a race track 2) its a race track, meaning he could just go round the track shifting down the gears until be slowed down, so how did he crash into a building? 3) most race tracks do not have buildings near the circuit where its possible to crash, especially when its a casual race day 4) As a safety precaution, most tracks have tyre walls, runoff areas and sand to slow you down if you run off the track. 5) Its track rules that a helmet MUST be worn by all persons while on a track 6)Don't believe everything you see on the news

| Maybe it wasn't an actual racetrack, just one he made himself? I dunno. A lot of the stuff Siris says is BS though. (No offence to you personally Siris, just your posts) | |

| I have to say that I would give my partner my helmet to save her life... however Its law in most 1st world countries to wear a helmet, both rider and pillion MUST wear a helmet at all times while the bike is in motion.
Secondly, the guy clearly had no clue what he was doing with his bike, your story shows he was clearly not able to control the bike if he was going to fast because it was 'fun' it was clearly showing off and his death is his fault. Secondly if he wasn't smart enough to keep his bike maintained then he only has himself to blame. I go out and check my bike over once every 2 weeks, checking oil, tires, brakes and all sorts so I know the bike is safe. Lastly, he isn't brave hes an arse, now his girlfriend must live without him and she was likely seriously injured because he was fooling, stupid, didn't maintain his bike, went to fast and was clearly just showing off..... Its people like that that make it so expensive for new drivers to get on the road.

| Okay, call me stupid, but why didn't he just jump off of the bike? I mean, yeah, it was probably going really, really fast, but seriously, if he managed to get the impact right, he'd live and suffer only a few broken bones. And trust me, I have experience in jumping off of fast moving objects. This dude would probably have lived if he jumped off the bike and twisted his body in such a way that his, ahem, rear cushioned most of the way, or as long as he didn't land on his neck or spine. It'd hurt like hell, but he'd be alive. Plus, I'd like to point out the contradiction in the title, since he's not alive anymore.
Nah, I'd say the bravest men alive are America's troops in different countries (No offense if you live elsewhere, you've got some great soldiers too), the firefighters and civilians who risked their lives on 9/11, and God damn it, I'm really trying to think of other instances where people from other nations have been awesome since I don't want anyone to be neglected here. But anyway, you get the point. The real heroes are the people who actually use their brain and help others instead of driving headfirst into a wall with no helmet on and simultaneously endangering his girlfriend's life. Seriously, he gave her a helmet. She could have injured her spine in that crash and now be completely paraplegic.
Just my two cents. | |

| Calm down, people, calm... Down. You're all ruining this with your darn intelligence and logic! Some things are better off without a second thought. Don't over think this all, not nothing in life requires logic to be beautiful... You're all just killing the idea here (I personally appreciate all of your posts, including this one, and do not expect nor wish for any of you to live as I say, so don't take it the wrong way, I simply wish to share my perspective).
Yes, Siri, if I were in such an illogical and irrational situation that demanded me to choose between me and that loved one, I would, without a moment of doubt, pick my partner's safety over mine.
Not to be a smart ass, but... Wouldn't that make me selfish? Or is it selfish to choose one's own life over another? Oh god, who knows what is right and wrong anymore!
