Post a team of yours here
Pokemon-Ninjask
Ability-Speed Boost
Item-(I forgot but it's a berry that increases sp atk)
Moves-Protect,Substitue,baton Pass,x-siccor
Reasons for these moves
With speed boost ability,it can out speed anything, also with the assistance of protect it can keep gaining speed.Substitue will allow it to lose hp,making the berry much easier for the held item to take affect.Baton pass will help pass off the stats, making sweeping ez.

Pokemon-Charizard
Ability-Blaze
Item-(Berry that increases atk stat)
Moves-Air Slash,Flare Blitz,Dragon Claw,(another moves W.I.P0
Reasons for these moves
As going with Ninjask and it's sp atk and speed boost with baton pass,Charizard can be a great sweeper.I put the atk increase berry because, as i use flare blitz, and defeat the opponent, my hp will be lowerd, and since all of its attacks are physical, it can defeat anything in its way.

Pokemon-Honchcrow
Ability-Moxie
Item-Life Orb
Moves-Physic,Brave Bird,Night Slash,(Another move W.I.P)
Reasons For Moves
Again,as going with ninjask and its stats boost and baton pass,Honchrow can defeat you fast!Life Orb+Moxie+Stat boost=Your end

Pokemon- Castform

Ability- Forecast

Item- Any

Moves- FireBlast, Thunder, Blizzard, WeatherBall

Reasons-
Castform is underrated in my opinion. The cute little blob is actually and funny way to screw with weather setters. No matter what the weather this pokemon will change its type to suit. It can hit the foe hard with super effective moves and takes little damage from the foes and nothing from the weather.
These moves are to make the best of the weather types.
Weather Ball switches type based on the weather, this also includes in a sand storm. Its a stab in almost all weather except in a sandstorm giving you reliable damage no matter what.
Blizzard is used for hail. Its accuracy is maxes in hail meaning you can mash foes with an over powered move. However is can be used to take out grass type walls like Fortress.
Fire Blast maxes its accuracy in harsh sunlight making short work of grass types and even taking a chunk out of pokemon that resist. It gets STAB bonus too when castform is used in sunlight. ITs a powerful move that makes short work of ice types running in hail also.
Thunder Its accuracy is maxed in the rain, making quick work of Water type Pokémon.

The point with Castform is it can hit hard in all weathers, even carry super effective moves and resist the foes weather based moves.

Other options for little Casty is Scald, giving it a chance to burn the foe. If there a physical attacker there attack is cut meaning cast form can run longer.

Other Options?
Castform could easily run as a weather setter, holding the appropriate weather item to prolong the weather effect and have Weather Ball as its only attack, then you simply change the weather to suit you and not your foe. This means running sun to hit steel with a fire weather ball or rain to hit rock or grounds with a water ball :DAlso Weatherball stops you from being taunt fodder.

PostSubject: Re: Your Pokemon Team   Fri Feb 14, 2014 9:44 am

This was the very first competitive team I raised on X/Y:

Jolteon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball
Great cleaner and good scout. I eventually stopped using Jolteon in favor of Mega Manectric, but still a good option where I want to use a different mega. Joteon works as my team's electric immunity since I don't have a ground type and otherwise have 3 pokemon weak to electric.

Lucario @ Lucarionite
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- ExtremeSpeed
- Swords Dance
Physical sweeper and my favourite set from Black/White. I got X/Y, saw Mega Lucario and went OMG I HAVE TO USE THIS SET... 112 base speed?!? Adaptability?!? There's a reason he's on the chopping block for Ubers... lulz

Crobat @ Black Sludge
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Taunt
- Roost
- Defog
Since my team has 2 4x rock weakness, I need something to get rocks of the field. Originally I ran Donphan as an offensive spinner, but he kept getting spinblocked by the new grass/ghost Pokemon, so I decided to forgo hazards on my side all together and go for a de-fogger (another new Gen 6 mechanic to abuse... haha). Also was having issues with substitute using sweaper, and infiltrator lets Crobat hit past them (more gen 6 changes!)

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Relaxed Nature
- Slack Off
- Scald
- Toxic
- Ice Beam
Originally I ran Skarmory but with a de-fogger, spikes is useless. Switched into slowbro to get another special attacker and a water resist. Also needed a way to cripple set-up sweepers since this team lacks a phaser.

Volcarona @ Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 HP / 240 SDef / 16 Spd
Calm Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Fiery Dance
- Quiver Dance
- Roost
Another favourite set from gen 5. This team lacks a dedicated special wall, but I didn't want to lose the overall offensive flavour of my team, so specially defensive Volcarona is a perfect fit. The combination of these EVs, Quiver Dance and Roost means Volcarona can set-up in the face of many special attackers including those with super-effective moves like Rotom wash. With Crobat reliably removing rocks, Volcarona can be pretty terrifying.

Talonflame @ Choice Band
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Steel Wing
Bwahahahha- I fell in love with Fletchling after the opening animations in X/Y where your mom's Pokemon wakes you up. Can you imagine how pleased I was when I found out Talonflame is a competitive monster? Together with Lucario's extreme speed, I now have enough powerful priority to to effectively revenge kill despite not having a choice-scarf user on this team. On top of that, with de-fog removing rocks, I get to use choice band on this powerhouse letting me OHKO many offensively leads like Greninja. Together with Jolteon, these two formed my first volt-turn core... something I later expanded to make an all volt-turn team (ask Damian/Aurath lulz).'

Here's the team in action: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-87772935
And another: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/ou-87781590
