Hey had some ideas for a site redesign, let me know what you think. Figured that it'd be easier to pick one pokemon to design a sight on than two of conflicting colors so I went with primal groudon. We got the logo on top and the bottom picture will be a repeating background (though I'll probably have to make it longer)

I don't kow much about editing Sites, but I can probably design something on Photoshop, I would just need the dimensions on how large you want it.

If not that looks great too. Would need sometime though as I'm not the fastest photshoper ever lol.

I kinda like your idea GC but one pokemon might be too little what if we focus on one type a month for the banner? or maybe one color of pokemon but multiple pokemon of the same color? I can design around a lot and I've learned a lot of new things in school and even more to learn next semester I could also used some of what I've learned and use pokemon of colors that complement each other if you'd like oh or maybe every month have the pokemon of the month in the banner maybe with multiple pics of it attacking, relaxing, shiny, non shiny ect. just let me know what you guys would like if i don't post often just message me or have Aurath bug me on Facebook

Hmm Well its your forum GC XD I just did what I could while you were gone... don't think it turned out to badly XD Although I have to say I'm a sapphire person myself ;p But I think we should have the primals talking up two halfs of a picture with mega ray in the middle and base the site colours on mega Ray's design... if I had the skill... that's what I would do... lol

Well I just saw that site redesign was on the list and I figured why not go for it and thought Groudon was more war like than Kyorge. I did consider Rayquaza but I do know of the rayquaza forums and didn't want to steal their design (though it looks like their forum is dying out).

@PP I know you do great work so if you have any ideas go for it. I think I would like to keep the site in a red and black theme if possible. Same goes for you Nova.

Though we could still go with Aurath's idea and combine the three pokemon maybe use this as a repeating backgroud or something like it (though maybe something smaller) With black being the main color theme?

Hmm maybe we could just use the marking silhouette as the main theme then? We could have the there new forms as the logo while keeping the forum dark.

Um, how about moving this to the feedback section and get everyone's opinion on this rather than just mods and admins? The others could use something to do too, since not much is yet going on.

Well maybe not the thread it's self since this is a to do list but posting something maybe a good idea. I was thinking about letting it be a surprise but there aren't that many people on the site at the moment anyways from what I've been hearing.

I'll post something tomorrow unless anyone has any objections or someone else wants to do it. It's late right now I should be sleeping.

GC anything is better than the current state where I can't read poll results because red text on busy background.

Hey admins, before we worry about all of this can someone put up the Christmas design? And far is right, we need to keep the background simple or otherwise the poll is impossible to see.

I'll put up the Christmas banner tonight after dinner and add some simple background colors to make sure the polls are readable.

Sorry the old design was such a problem guys... did the best I could lol... Never redesigned a site and wanted something for Halloween and then a new design for the ORAS release. With GC back you guys can have a forum that you can read and I can stop fiddling with things I don't fully understand.

Also I'm experimenting with pokemon cursors let me know if they get in the way of clicking stuff.

This site redesign though... I just melted. I was completely frozen in awe. What a gift for Pokemon Wars.

Anyway, I'm sure I can get used to the cursor, nice little touch. Only problem is that I usually visit the site on an iPod browser and won't get to see it often... Oh, and Aurath, considering you did pretty much everything I wouldn't start to feel bad. There would be no Pokemon Wars if you weren't there!

EDIT: Okay, I've found a problem. The 'jump to' and mod tools are just coming up white, and it's impossible to see them without moving the cursor over them. My guess is that it's just because of white text over white background, but I don't know. If any admins could fix this that'd be great, but it's still usable without I guess.
