Yeah it's called the 2013 spring friendly. I don't normally enter but maybe I will this time.

I am getting ready for the same tournament. I really like the Gen 5+ only rules, it takes of few major players out. but here is what I am running for the Spring Friendly:

1) Skarmory @Jolly (+Spd, -SAk)
252 HP, 252 Spd, 4 Def @??? (item)
-Spikes
-Stealth Rocks
-Roost
-Brave Bird
--- Just look at it =) Skarmory is built to lead and set up its entry hazards. It's sturdy so no matter what the other guy opens with I know I can at least get stealth. Spikes are gravy and BB is anti-taunt bait.

2) Hydreigon @Modest (+SAk, -Atk)
252 SAk, 252 Spd, 4 HP @Life Orb
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
--- My team's primary sweeper. Its job is to mop up what my entry hazards leave behind.

3) Excadrill @Jolly (+Spd, -SAk)
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP @Air Baloon
-Rapid Spin
-Rock Slide
-Earthquake
-Swords Dance
--- Dual purpose fulfilling. Spinner takes out opponent's hazards while if they switch out to spin block, I can batter them with the quick and spite full EQ.

4) Escavalier @Adament (+Atk, -SAk)
240 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Def, 12 SDf @Choice Band
-X-Scissor
-Iron Head
-Pursuit
-Double Edge
---I know the EV spread looks odd, but SDf and Def are equalized with these set with the other two sets bolstered for stayability and power. Double edge helps get into range of Swarm.

5) Volcarona @Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
104 HP, 252 SAk, 4 SDf. 148 Spd @Chesto Berry
-Rest
-Quiver Dance
-Fiery Dance
-Bug Buzz
--- This is set up to be a surprise. Volcarona throws around its bulk and then rests after quiver set up to destroy just about anything it can hit.

6) Jellicent @Bold (+Def, -Atk)
252 HP, 216 Def, 44 Spd @Leftovers
-Taunt
-Scald
-Will-O-Wisp
-Recover
--- Say hello to the most versatile Pokémon usable in these battle that I can think of. It is a defensive GOD thanks to perfect typing! Following that is SDf is high enough with help to stand almost any single shot. Then it is a spin blocker! Woohoo! And burning people is fun }=]. Scald will help spread the burn plague even on switch ins, while Will-O-Wisp will decimate anything that needs to be out quick like Ferrothorn.
